December 2010:  LAZEN had its first meeting!

A group of zebrafish researchers from Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina and Chile have teamed up to create a network that promotes the use of the model, facilitates exchange of materials and fosters advanced training of young scientists in the region. A critical mass of laboratories in these countries has been reached and investigators are looking for ways in which to create synergy by combining efforts.
